Charging the right price

Getting your prices right is one of the most difficult business problems. All too often businesses are not obtaining the best prices for their products and/or services. This is most apparent among small and medium sized enterprises and our experience is that many of these businesses are sacrificing up to ten percent of potential profits.

Chronic undercharging and price competition do a large amount of damage to the profitability of Britain’s small and mid sized businesses. Deciding on the price of what you sell is often done without proper analysis, using intuitive, cost plus or competitor comparison methods. While a good understanding of the marketplace is important it’s not enough on its own, to ensure that your profitability is not compromised by your pricing decisions.
